Reception at 6:00 pm and the music begins at 6:30 pm.
Beer, wine and other refresh-ments will be available for purchase from That Brewery throughout the evening.
This year’s event once again features performers from all over Arizona, and will be the first evening-only festival in Blues Fest history.

6:30 pm – Mojo Rats
Based in Phoenix, Mojo Rats is an electric blues/rock band that delivers a blend of traditional Chicago-style blues, Texas blues and blues-based rock. Band members include Bob Vincent on lead vocals, guitar, harmonica and congas, Tym Burnham on lead guitar and vocals, Richard Jones on bass and vocals, and Alex Luce on drums. Its repertoire consists of everything from Muddy Waters to Jimi Hendrix.
7:30 pm – Smokestack Lightning
Coming up from the Gila River Indian Community, Smokestack Lightning, winner of the 2015 Arizona Blues Showdown sponsored by the Phoenix Blues Society, is a band that gets right to the point, and they use the unmistakable sound of pain, tri-umph, loneliness and joy to get that point across. Bassist Mark Leos and drummer Pat Antone hold up the groove while guitarist Rik Leos and harmonica player Robert Jackson knock you down with their leads.
8:30 pm – Dirty Verde Blues Band
Headlining the festival is the Dirty Verde Blues Band, an all-star ensemble of the best blues musicians in the Verde Valley, performing full-speed ahead with one foot firmly planted in the heritage of the blues legends of the past and the other foot on the accelerator of the future of the blues. Band members include Gregg Gould on harmonica and vocals, Don Whitcher on steel guitar and vocals, J.R. Robusto and Joe Neri sharing guitar and vocal work, Hutch Hutchinson on bass and vocals, and Gino Romeo on drums.
