Old Town Center for the Arts will host its annual Holiday Show on Saturday, December 12, at 7:00 pm. This year’s show promises to be the best ever, with a program of both traditional and modern holiday classics, performed by some of the best singers and musicians in Northern Arizona.
Producer and musician Joe Neri with Blues Dawg has assembled a talented group of headliners for this year’s holiday show that includes Shondra Jepperson, Dan Bresnan and Bo Wilson.
The very popular and talented entertainer, Shondra Jepperson, will lend her incredible vocal talents and masterful stage presence to this year’s show. Shondra is an international singer songwriter and recording concert artist, whose catalog of originals includes a vast range of genres. An Alumni of Juilliard’s School of Drama, she continues to perform professionally full-time as an actor, singer and entertainer. In the 80’s and 90’s she fronted her own rock bands in concert for years throughout California, starred in her own shows in Las Vegas, Reno and on popular cruise ships and is half of Sedona’s award winning duo, Tom & Shondra.
The multi-talented Dan Bresnan is an international recording artist, guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, as well as a revered luthier (Bresnan Guitars). His well acclaimed Bresnan Blues Band’s 2014 debut CD, Party in My Backseat is in regular rotation on radio stations across Europe to rave reviews. Dan began music at the age of 6 and began his professional career in high school, leading his own ensembles, as well as collaborations with others on the east coast before moving west. Dan’s performance and songwriting style is a fusion of folk rock, Americana, Roots, Blues, Classic Rock, influenced also by 40’s and 50’s pop standards. Dan is currently a member of A.S.C.A.P., the Guild of American Luthiers, and Chamber Music Sedona.
Bo Wilson is a nationally acclaimed guitarist, who has entertained and amazed audiences throughout Arizona. His band, the ‘Bo Wilson Incident’ has released a nationally and globally distributed album in 2009 with Tom Kat Records/DSN Music that continues to get airplay throughout the world. He is a frequent headliner at the House of Blues in Las Vegas in addition to his frequent performances throughout Sedona and the Verde Valley.
For this special holiday event Shondra and Dan will be backed by the core Blues Dawg band of Hutch Hutchinson on bass, Gino Romeo on drums and bluesman, guitarist and singer Joe Neri. The excellent musicianship of Blues Dawg will be supported by the fiery guitar solos of Bo Wilson. Blues Dawg has been a blues staple in Northern Arizona for the past decade, steeped in the traditions of American blues and roots music.
