Arizona Music legend Walt Richardson, is one of the most endearing, lasting, talented, and influential musicians in Arizona’s history.  Since the 70’s Walt has entertained and inspired audiences who have come to love his songs and arrangements of pop, folk, world and reggae tunes.  Long considered the godfather of the Phoenix reggae scene, Walt returns to OTCA with new songs and old classics.

Walt was the first to perform at OTCA, and will again bring his brilliant music and infectious, beautiful spirit to Verde Valley.  Walt’s original music and sublime covers, like Cat Stevens “Peace Train” has endeared thousands of fans who have followed Walt’s career in Arizona and the U.S.

Walt’s long time friend and guitarist extraordinaire Hannes Kvarana will perform, and singer-songwriter Ty will open the show.  Walt was the opening act for Old Town Center for the Arts and returns for OTCA’s third anniversary.  Come be a part of a building tradition.
