Fasten your seat belts for a night of music from around the world with the Jazz Bedouins featuring special guest guitarist Vincent Z.
The Jazz Bedouins, composed of Fitzhugh Jenkins, Eddy Barattini and Zirque Bonner, with be in concert one evening only, Sunday, September 20th at 6 PM.
Fitzhugh Jenkins will be on Spanish guitar, Zirque Bonner on bass violin, and Eddy Barattini will be on Percussion. Jenkins, and Bonner while based in Arizona, have traveled extensively, as soloists and as players accompanying legendary performers.
Zirque Bonner and Eddy Barratini of the Jazz Bedouins, have just returned from an international tour and are ready to treat you to some world class musicianship.
Fitzhugh Jenkins toured for 10 years with the Shah of Iran's private Court of musicians, singers, and belly dancers. He studied guitar at Berkley College of Music in Boston and in Paris with Pierre Bensusan. He has performed in Central America, Europe, and India, and has opened in concert for Alex DeGrassi, Tuck and Patti and others.
Fitzhugh's first notable gig was as a tender youth backing up Don Ho in Waikiki. He performed on the Grammy nominated CD, "Passion - Music for Guitar" on the Narada label. Fitzhugh Jenkins, just back from Spain, will be performing in India this winter in the cities of Delhi, Kerala and a music festival in Nanatail.
Zirque Bonner has toured the world with Jazz luminaries and has received several Down Beat music magazine awards for talent deserving wider recognition in New York.
Drummer Eddy Barattini has toured internationally with Jazz Guitar superstar Stanley Jordan. Eddy also has the unforgettable distinction of paying at Woodstock with Richie Havens.
Special Guest, Vincent Z has just returned from France, his homeland where he sings songs from around the world in many different languages. Vincent Z has a distinguished career performing throughout France, Spain and North Africa.
