Dan Bresnan, leader of Bresnan Unplugged, also returns in his second year as Blues Fest Director. 10th Annual 2020 Blues Fest lineup 7:45 P.M. Bresnan Unplugged - Vocals, Guitar, Trumpet, Piano, Bass, Drums The Bresnan Unplugged Trio will perform two sets of music and is happy to return to OTCA after many well-received sold out shows at this venue. The ensemble on this performance features leader, Dan Bresnan (Vocals/Acoustic Archtop Guitar), Dave Len Scott (Trumpet/Piano), Troy Perkins (Bass), and Dr. Bob Sellani (Drums). Dan Bresnan (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar) is an international recording artist, guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, as well as a revered luthier (Bresnan Guitars). His well acclaimed Bresnan Blues Band’s 2014 debut CD, “Party in My Backseat” has received rave reviews and has been in regular rotation on radio stations across Europe. Dan’s performance and songwriting style is a fusion of folk rock, Americana, Roots, Blues, Classic Rock, influenced also by 40’s and 50’s pop standards. Dan is currently a member of A.S.C.A.P., the Guild of American Luthiers, and Chamber Music Sedona. Dave Len Scott (Trumpet & Piano), is a happy new resident of Northern Arizona. Dave formerly worked in the San Francisco Bay Area, recording and touring with Concord Records Jazz Artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Michael Feinstein, and Big Kahuna and the Copa Cat Pack, as well as touring with the Boz Scaggs band from 2004 to 2008. Troy Perkins (Bass), started his musical career playing French Horn. Transitioning to bass during his college years, he has since performed throughout the US and Europe. Troy has been performing in the Sedona area for several years in various blues, jazz, and pop ensembles. Dr. Bob Sellani (drums), is the Founder and current Verde Valley area VP for the Northern Arizona Blues Alliance. He specializes in the blues genre and has competed in the Memphis International Blues Challenge for the last 4 years and was a semifinalist performer in 2017. Dr. Bob performs regionally with various blues ensembles in Sedona, Verde Valley, Flagstaff, and Phoenix. Opening Act Renee Claybon (Vocalist), is formerly from Michigan, and is a local performer here in Northern Arizona with her own group, "Diversity." Renee's musical stylings have been described as jazzy, sassy combined with a powerhouse of soul. She has performed the National Anthem for the Detroit Pistons and the Arizona Rattlers, represented Arizona In the 2017 Memphis International Blues Competition, and had the honor of performing for President Ronald Reagan. Les Paul Roque (Piano), will be accompanying Renee Claybon on piano for this performance. Born in New Jersey, Les has performed in popular clubs in Philadelphia, New York, as well as U.S. and international performances in Turkey, Japan, and Brazil. Performances include top Billboard acts, such as, Kool and the Gang, Billy Paul, and Sister Sledge. His keyboards stylings include jazz, R & B, standards, and Top 40.performed in popular clubs in Philadelphia, New York, as well as U.S. and international performances in Turkey, Japan, and Brazil.
